Professor the Lord Robert Winston delivers an inspirational talk for students

We were honoured to have Professor the Lord Robert Winston speak to our students on Thursday 17 November. A Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College, London and a member of the House of Lords, but as his talk revealed, he is so much more than that!

He delivered an inspirational talk on aspects of his career, education, science, ethics and politics and answered thoughtful questions from our students. His final message about the importance of communication and listening was a great takeaway. Over lunch, Professor Lord Winston met with our A level biology students, where he discussed the importance of taking an interest in areas outside of their A level studies and questioning everything. Later in the afternoon, he then met with some politics students sharing some thought provoking responses to their questions. We are so grateful for him taking the time to visit and speak to our students.
