Many congratulations to all our sixth formers for their outstanding successes this summer. We are proud to report that 83% of all A levels sat by our students were awarded grades A*-B. This has been Claremont’s largest upper sixth to date, with a cohort of 81 students, and results day has proved to be particularly joyous, with 96% of gaining places at their preferred universities.
While the vast majority of our students have opted to study at the big-name universities – UCL, KCL, Warwick, Exeter, Bristol and Durham proving particularly popular – with courses ranging from neuroscience to criminology, economics to law, veterinary medicine to climate science, a sizable number of our students have followed the more creative route in film making, fashion marketing, animation and musical theatre for which the smaller universities have the best reputation. Likewise, three of our students have gained fantastic apprenticeship opportunities. It is truly our desire to enable our students to fulfil their potential and follow their passions and it has been a great pleasure to see such genuine delight on the faces of all our students.
