COP26 has been labelled by climate activists as the best and most critical chance for world leaders to take meaningful action in the fight against climate change. Whilst conversation around global targets gathers momentum for COP26, it is an important opportunity for pupils to expand their knowledge and understanding on the topics being discussed at the summit and a great chance to join the discussion themselves. On Friday 5 November, some Senior School and sixth form classes will be participating in The Great Big Lesson for Climate and Nature livestreamed from Glasgow via YouTube and organised by agencies including The Eden Project, Nature 4 Climate and Cambridge Zero.
The live lesson offers an inspiring way for school communities to feel part of the COP26 summit and will cover key climate concepts, exploration of all topics being discussed at the event and evidence of the positive action taking place around the world.
