Claremont pupils in Fan Court and Stable Court (from Pre-Nursery to Year 6) have proudly chosen Home Start Elmbridge as their charity for this academic year. We will have many fundraising events that will help support local families who are facing challenging times. 💛 This week, the Home Start team visited Fan Court to deliver an assembly about the amazing work they do. We would like to give a special congratulations to Honor, who received a certificate for her outstanding Home Start poster. Macbeth Workshop ✨🎭 Last week's Macbeth workshop with Sky Blue Theatre Company brought the story to life for our Year 6 pupils through an energetic and interactive session. The children loved stepping into character, experimenting with costumes and props, and using their own ideas to retell the play. Guided by skilled facilitators, they deepened their understanding while growing in confidence and creativity. Year 9 living rainforest trip 🌿 Pupils explored the incredible world of tropical rainforest biodiversity as part of their GCSE Geography studies. 🌿🦥🐍 They discovered how plants and animals survive in this unique habitat and were fascinated by clever adaptations seen in creatures such as caiman, sloths and even a stick insect that can shed a leg to escape predators before growing it back. 🪲✨ It was a brilliant experience for both pupils and staff, and a chance to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without leaving the UK. 🌧️🌴 #Claremont #LimitlessInPotential #SchoolTrip #Rainforest
